The Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Phone is a Worthy Razer Phone Adversary
Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Black Shark gaming phone to the world, an ultra-powerful mobile gaming machine that gives the Razer phone a run for its money. This is a sensible move, seeing that more and more processor-hungry games like PUBG mobile have wiggled their way into mobile.
Rumors and spec leaks have teased its existence to millers, but now that Xiaomi has announced the new device, we get a closer look at what’s under the hood of what looks like is a very promising phone. Off the bat, the Xiaomi Black Shark packs some serious power, thanks to the latest Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor made more efficient by the liquid cooling system embedded in its stable.
What’s more exciting is Xiaomi’s gaming-centric OS, JOY UI, which introduces a bunch of features gamers will love, chief among them is Shark Space which essentially puts your phone in “gaming mode”, ridding all interruptions when in-game. And where Razer wants you to turn itself into a full-fledged gaming laptop, Xiaomi wants you to take the Black Shark with you, thanks to its detachable Bluetooth joystick.
