The HTC U12 Plus is the big HTC comeback you’ve been anticipating

by | May 24, 2018 | Smartphones

If you think you’ve seen the last of HTC, think again. Their newest flagship, the HTC U12 Plus, hits like whiplash, with decent internals and an exciting camera. With flagship-like specs beefed into its cold-polished 3D finish—the phone ships with a speedy Snapdragon 845 processor, 64GB/128GB RAM-internal storage combo, and Android O out of the box—the phone is gearing up to be the company’s comeback after some flaws in its previous releases.

The key highlight on the U12 Plus, if there should be one, is its cameras, which gets a 103 DxOMark, just six points behind Huawei P20 Pro’s 109. There’s a 12-megapixel (f1.75) + 16-megapixel (f2.6) telephoto lens at the back, and an f2.0 8-megapixel dual front-facing camera.
