OnePlus 5T Leak Reveals Near-Bezelless Screen and Rear Fingerprint Sensor
The OnePlus 3T, at the time, was a special case. It was an update to an already impressive smartphone, and it seems like OnePlus is making the same update yet again. The OnePlus 5T is upon us.
In a leaked image shared by Android Authority, key hardware details have been revealed about OnePlus 5T, including a near bezel-less screen and a rear and—we feel we have to point this out now from now on, thanks to Samsung—centered fingerprint sensor.
The design has OnePlus’, ahem, fingerprints all over it. Its design is simple and straightforward, with dark frames and now very faint bezels and chopped-off top and chin. The fingerprint sensor, which used to be front-facing, has been moved to the back of the device.
The OnePlus 5 is an impressive smartphone, all things considered. It runs Android smoothly, has great performance, and a works its battery very economically.
However, what I personally would like to see is an update on the camera. Admittedly, this has been a major setback for OnePlus 5, and it would make a lot of sense if OnePlus actually delivered in this department. If it happens, it would continue OnePlus’ earned run as makers of killer flagships.
