Huawei launches its Honor Line in the Philippines

by | May 2, 2018 | Smartphones

Fresh off the heels of the uproarious success of the Huawei P20 line, Huawei has announced that it’s officially launching the much-loved Honor line to the Philippines again.

To those uninitiated, Honor is a sub-brand of smartphones developed by Huawei aimed at the lower-end to mid-range market. Previous entries include last year’s Honor 8, an all-around impressive device that can definitely compete with other smartphones under much higher price points.

Huawei Honor Philippines: Honor 9 Lite, Honor 7X Launches

Huawei is launching its Honor line with two beloved products, the Honor 9 Lite and the Honor 7X, two bang-for-your-buck smartphones that give users a lot to play with in terms of mobile computing. The two are very similar devices in terms of specs: both spec’d out for their price, the Honor 9 Lite and the Honor 7X are equipped with Kirin 659 processors and Full HD+ resolution displays. Both sport great-looking 18:9 displays, with only a very small difference in body size.

A key difference is with the phones’ cameras: the 9 Lite is similar to Nova 2i, having a quad-cam setup of 13- and 2-megapixel sensors on the front and back; while the 7X keeps a more traditional dual-cam rear setup of 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary for depth-sensing.

Here’s a quick specs comparison between the two for your reference.
