Meet the HERO, GoPro’s Cheapest Action Cam Yet
GoPro has unveiled the newest addition to its roster. Simply called the HERO, GoPro’s new camera is its cheapest action cam yet and an obvious reply to entry-level cameras that rival it. Chief among them is the SJ Cam, a crowd-pleasing budget action cam that does all of GoPro’s expensive tricks for a small fraction of the price.
The HERO camera is a nice device like its bigger brothers but obviously had to make a few compromises. Should the spec sheet be our indication, however, the $199 price tag feels justified.
With that out of the way, here’s everything you need to know about the GoPro HERO camera.
