Uber Will Now Deliver Food for Filipinos via Uber Eats
According to Uber’s Careers Page, Uber Eats is launching in Manila pretty soon.
The car-hailing app is pretty darn popular in the Pearl of the Orient—the recent Uber ban has been particularly felt—so it makes that its next move for its food delivery service, Uber Eats, would be in Manila. In fact, a subdomain for it has been bought and is currently live for you to visit in-the-flesh: click here.
For the uninitiated, Uber Eats is a food delivery service launched in the U.S. 2014, At the time of this writing, Uber Eats is operational in around 150 cities worldwide, 15 of which is in Asia. It’s hard to point exactly a launch date for Uber Eats Manila, but we’re safely assuming a mid-2018 launch.
