Globe’s Time Please is primed to make giving back a cooler thing

by | May 28, 2018 | Lifestyle, Tech

Globe has unveiled its newest project, Time Please, the first ever online volunteerism platform in the Philippines.

Announced alongside the Philippine debut of Disney Life, the house of mouse’s exclusive SVOD in the vein of Netflix and Hulu, Time Please is primed to make volunteerism streamlined, cool, and in some ways, gamified.

Everyone interested can go ahead and check out their website, www.timeplease.com, and play around its intuitive UI.

How does Time Please work?

Time Please is Globe’s initiative to promote volunteerism as an activity for families, friends, and professional teams. To this end, Globe, through Time Please, allows users to join existing and create their own volunteer programs.

Globe Subscribers, in addition, can earn prizes and rewards when they hit a certain milestone of Volunteer Hour Credits.

How do I make my own volunteer program on Time Please?

Creating your own volunteer program on Time Please is respectably straightforward.

For example, I’m planning on holding a small “slumber party” for orphaned kids where I will feed them snacks and screen a child-friendly movie. Follow the walkthrough I’ve laid down as follows.

First, hit the Register in the menu bar.

Once you’re done, Time Please will credit you with Volunteer Hours. Here’s what the hour metrics look like. It will show you the number of hours you have accumulated, as well as any milestones you’ve hit along the way.

That’s it! You’ve made your own volunteer program. It’s time to tell your friends, family, and colleagues to join in your cause!

Note that Time Please will not shoulder your program’s expenses; they will however help with getting word out for your program through their platform.
