How to Preview Your Latest Instagram Post Against Your Feed

by | Mar 9, 2018 | Apps

In case you didn’t know, Instagram lets you preview your posts against your feed. Instagram is a visual platform, and the whole feed is as crucial as are your individual posts. This is where the idea of “theme-ing” feeds comes in: users who use a unifying theme across their Instagram feeds tend to get more followers than the rest of us, the clueless lowlifes.

Doing it is very easy and very simple, too. Here’s how.

  1. Tap the “+” button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the photo you wish to preview.
  3. On the caption screen, tap the photo to the right. This will bring you to a “Preview” which should have your feed at the bottom together with the photo you are trying to post. (See example below).

This feature is certainly handy, especially considering how a lot of us are putting a lot of time and effort into our Instagram feeds.

Not everyone has the feature, however. My best guess is that this is a new feature Instagram is trying out. If you want it, you might want to make sure your app is updated to its latest version.

If you don’t have it yet, don’t worry. Third-party apps like Planoly and Unum allows you to plan your feed up to a certain number of posts ahead.
