It Looks Like Huawei P20 Will Have Three Beastly Cameras
The ongoing battle of “sure, but does your phone have this” isn’t stopping anytime soon. And it looks like Huawei is playing a pretty aggressive game this 2018 with Huawei P20, which, according to leaked renders, will have a high-spec, possibly excessive three-camera system.
Huawei’s follow-up to last year’s uber-successful P10 is a beast of a smartphone, if rumors are true. It apparently comes in three different variants: the base Huawei P20 model, the Huawei P20 Plus, and the Huawei P20 Pro. Across all three devices, the Pro is expected to come equipped with the latest Kirin 975 chip and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, while the P20 and P20 Plus will get the Kirin 970 and front-facing sensors. All three phones will sport an 18:9 display, charged with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage, and, of course, the tri-cam system at the back.
As expected, the three-cam system is Leica branded, to remind you lest you forget that Huawei takes smartphone photography pretty seriously. But get this: the rear cameras are expected to get as high as 40-megapixel sensor, 5x Hybrid zoom capability, a 24-megapixel front-facing camera, powered by Huawei’s aggressive AI-powered tech.
If all these are true, other OEMs will have a run for their money. The Huawei P20 phones are expected to launch at MWC 2018.
