Huawei P20 Lite: iPhone X Droid-Clone You’ll Be Able to Afford
Tiger Mobiles just released a 3D render of Huawei’s upcoming midrange flagship, the Huawei P20 Lite. It’s looking to place itself among the iPhone X-y type of Android phones set for release this year—notch and all.
Check out the full leak below:
If the leak is to be believed, which in my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt, it looks like Huawei P20 Lite’s emulation of iPhone X cuts beyond cosmetics. The hardware is all there: a tall near-bezelless display, an all-glass body, a vertical dual-cam system, and—of course!—the infamous notch. Additionally, on its glass back-panel are the perfectly mounted fingerprint scanner (it’s still here!) and the suavely placed Huawei branding.
Inside, the Huawei P20 Lite will pack quite a punch. It’s expected to ship with either the latest Kirin 970 chipset (which allows for Huawei’s impressive A.I. sorcery) or a stronger variation of Kirin 659, as seen in Huawei Nova 2i. It’s expected to also come with a considerably decent battery at 2,900 mAh. The phone comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Huawei P20 Lite is due for its launch at MWC 2018 in March, which it will share with Huawei’s other flagships and major releases.
