Google Announces New Flagships Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL
Google announced a lot of interesting new hardware in its special media event on Wednesday. There’s a robust chromebook called Pixelbook, an affordable but efficient Google Home called Mini, and a new 360-degree camera called Google Clip. Doubtless the star of the show, however, are the two new flagships that Google has been teasing for the past few weeks: the Google Pixel 2 and the Google Pixel 2 XL.
Both phones look like 2017 smartphones. Whether that is a good thing or not is really up to the user. It’s almost bezel-less, sports an odd design language in terms of hardware, and houses a supposedly really powerful camera. It looks nowhere near as futuristic as its competitors’ flagships such as the iPhone X and the Samsung Note 8, but where it seems to fail in aesthetic it might deliver on function.
On this post, we’re dishing out all the key details about what looks to be flagships that favor function over flair. Check out the specs, price, availability, and release date of both the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL in the Philippines.
