Fortnite: Battle Royale is Coming to Android and iOS

by | Mar 12, 2018 | Gaming

The battle royale of Battle Royales continue.

Epic Games has announced that it is developing its hit game, “Fortnite: Battle Royale”, for mobile. It’s putting an iOS and Android version for the game due for release real soon. It’s an obvious counter-move against “PUBG”, its main adversary. What’s more, another battle royale game, “H1Z1” has also turned itself into a free-to-play game.

To those uninitiated, “Fortnite: Battle Royale” is Epic Games’ entry to the battle royale genre, which puts a certain number of players in a battlefield wherein they will duke it out to be the last player standing. If it sounds like the 2001 Japanese film, “Battle Royale”, it’s because it’s based exactly off of that.

Epic tells that iOS users will be able to sign up starting March 12th to receive invites into an early version of the game, with Android support to come thereafter.
