Meet the Dell XPS 13 (2018), Dell’s slickest ultrabook yet

by | May 29, 2018 | Laptops

Don’t line up Dell’s XPS 13 with the likes of Macbook clones. It’s its own beast. But even beasts of their own dull out. The 2018 version of the Dell XPS 13, then, comes at a perfect time. Coated in white glass fiber, the XPS 13 looks premium, perhaps Dell’s slickest ultrabook yet.

Dell announced the XPS 13 in the Philippines at its launch yesterday, where they cranked out its best new features by screening Ron Howard’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story”. The point of this, of course, is to show that XPS 13 is still one if not the best ultrabook for media. That’s thanks to its ‘Dell Cinema’ features that enhance sound, preserve color, and improves media streaming.

Here’s a quick rundown of the specs.

  • 13.3-inch IPS Display @ 4K Ultra HD
  • Intel Core i7-8550U 1.8GHz quad-core
  • Up to 4.0GHz Turbo Boost
  • Intel UHD Graphics 620
  • 8GB/16GB DDR4 RAM
  • 256GB/512GB SSD
  • WiFi 802.11ac
  • Bluetooth
  • 2 x Thunderbolt 3 with PowerShare & DC-In & DisplayPort
  • 1 x USB-C 3.1 with PowerShare, DC-In & DisplayPort
  • 1 x card reader
  • 1 x headset jack
  • 1 x Noble lock slot
  • 52 WHr Li-Ion battery

Those are some hefty internals, but you know it will cost you. The base model, which comes with 8GB RAM/256GB SSD, is priced at Php 99,990 and are now available in Dell Stores.
