Adobe simplifies video making with Project Rush, now in Beta
Adobe has crept up with industry staple creative tools with the likes of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and more. Their ubiquitous Creative Collection and Creative Suite tools are the go-to solutions for creators and professional filmmakers alike. But here’s the thing: those tools take time to get a good grip on. The trail through which beginning creators must go to even get acquainted with their software isn’t, suffice it to say, beginner-friendly.
Enter Adobe Project Rush, a new in-beta project from Adobe which aims to simplify the content creation by fusing all the good parts of its tools into one app. It’s now in Beta, and interested users may sign up now to get a feel of the software ahead of its launch.
Content creators, YouTubers, and social media influencers are the clear demographic for this new tool. The highlight is with its simplicity and ease-of-use, bringing to the table superb controls on video, color, motion graphics, and audio. Of course, it won’t be at par with the O.G. Adobe apps, much as Photoshop Express, though a great editing app in its own right, doesn’t match its big brother’s granular control. What’s great, though, is it works with the Cloud, meaning you can back-and-forth from desktop to mobile without losing any progress.
The software is obviously some ways away from release, especially being in Beta currently. Rest assured we’ll keep our eyes open for it when it finally launches.
